What is the real possibility of reselling this property?
How much will it cost me to get it ready for sale?
They will ask themselves the same questions when they are interested in your format, and that is why you must already have the answers ready. So, bringing the focus back to franchising, the main questions are:
How long does it take to get my initial investment back?
From what data do the income and cost hypotheses that are presented to me arise and how can they be demonstrated?
And to answer these 2 questions, very often the materials to be presented are rather complex.
We are not talking about quickly filling an excel file with hypotheses on what could be the future turnover with the so-called "servant's accounts".
You will have to demonstrate with numbers and a history that everything shareholder data you show is true and that it derives from certain statistics linked perhaps to the population density and the detailed catchment area within which to open the business.
For example, you will not only have to show what the costs are and what the revenues are, but you will have to justify one by one, detailing as much as possible, why these costs exist and perhaps what other options there could be on the market.
What questions does the investor ask?
